Couples Counseling/Marriage Therapy - When the intoxication of a new relationship begins to fade, you begin to notice flaws in your partner that you didn’t see before. Your partner can become down right annoying. Relationship counseling can help you understand what happened, strengthen your relationship and form greater emotional intimacy.
You can benefit from couples therapy when you ...
- Feel lonely or like something is missing in your relationship
- Want to strengthen your marriage
- Can’t talk much without arguing
- Lose your connection and intimacy
- Want to recommit after an extra-marital affair, domestic/emotional abuse
Couples benefit from therapy when they attend weekly 60-minute sessions, set goals, complete homework assignments and are willing to be open about their lives—past, present and future.
Pre-marital Counseling - You spend years dreaming of your wedding day and planning the perfect wedding. Have you spent time planning for your marriage? A structured, yet flexible, premarital counseling program can help couples identify (and, if possible, resolve) areas of difference that may become a source of conflict later. Premarital counseling takes place over 5 to 7 sessions, depending on the couple, lasting 60 minutes per session. In addition to a general education about what makes relationships succeed and fail, topics covered include:
- Emotional and Sexual Intimacy
